18"s on Taco

    3inch lift , 18" rims
    i have a 3 in lift on 2008 taco. also got 18" rims with 16mm offset. how big of a tire can i get without rubbing. was thinking of a cooper discoverer stt 275/65r18

    I've got 275/70/18's and I wish they were wider. I'd get atleast a 285

    are any of those tire izes aggresive or just street tread. i would like to keep an aggresive tread

    not much at all. the black plastic inside the fender has to be trimmed aroung the bottom. I've got the co's cranked all the way up so maybe 3-3.5" of lift

    You can fit 275/55/18 on a stock tacoma. Some come from the factory with this option. Rims are the 18" Toyota BBS...

    well the coopers i am interested in are slightly smaller than the 275/70 nittos so maybe they wont do much rubbing

    Kings, AP 3" leaf pack, timbrens front and rear, TC UCA's, pro comp 7189's, baja ATZ's, CBI sliders and rear, relentless front, dynomax catback
    I've been doing tons of reading on 18" tires.... Wanting to go with 275/65R18. Hopefully it should help negate rubbing issues while still getting the hieght I want. You really gotta just check all the manufacturers and the sizes the offer in a R18 size. And have the tire size calculator ready, that thing is money.

    thanx for all your responses. i have been stressing over buying new tires. i just dont wont to order them and they not fit.

    yea and its kinda hard to find an aggresive looking tire slightly smaller than a thirty three for an eighteen rim
