 those are the good ones... Use live mode (the button to the right of the viewfinder, same one you use to record vid) and zoom in Monte, works awesome for getting it perfect, a tripod helps when zooming in live mode would be my tip but you can do it at 5x without a tripod no prob depending on how far ur zoomed in.

All metal too. Thing weighs over three pounds. With my crop sensor I get 320mm out of it.

Am I missing something? Nikon crop factor is 1.5 isn't it? So 200 x 1.5 = 300. Fill me in ha because I've been assuming my 70-300 reaches to 450.

Took the day off today in hope to do the 5k zombie run but no one wanted to do it. Brother in law had my 9yr old nephew give me a guilt trip saying I can take the day off to do a run but can't attend his game since it was his last game of the season. Figure I would bring my camera and see what kind of shots I can get. Boy did I have a blast trying to capture him! It was an intense game! They won 48-50, GO SPARTANS! I know a couple of you guys shoot football games, what kind of lens do you guys use? I had my 55 - 250mm f/4.0- 5.6 and that was, in my opinion, ok to shoot with. I'll see if I have any decent ones to share here shortly.

Went back and re-edit most of the pictures. Cropped it in to focus on my nephew, #68, as I got feedback from another forum that the back is 'too distracting' and I agree! Now it seems like I'm having exposure issue. Let me know guys!

cropped ones are much better. I agree, was way to cluttered before. I mean..they were still good, but didn't have really one subject. Good group shots though.

Having a real fast lens is key for this stuff to keep the shutter speeds high as im sure you noticed. Hard to shoot otherwise.
