from the pic's you posted it looks good! I did just my rockers about a year ago with no problems with it flaking off or pealing. The only the problem I have is that it faded quickly and now shrinking. The good thing is that you can recoat it or in your case your truck is black and you may not see the color after shrinking. I'll post up some pictures after this rain stops.

thank god... because its almost goofy how glossy it is. i also bed lined the lower front bumper where the turn signals are. looks great... but I could blind drivers with the shine from the sun glare

so mine have been done for a few months and they definitely dull very nicely... i hated how glossy it was at first but i'm glad i waited to paint it flat black cause now i won't be

i also have 4 coats on and will most likely be putting a few more on so hopefully i won't see any shrinkage issues

    dud122, first off, looks great.
From what I understood, Herculiner is a product of Durabak. Durabak is what I used on my Samurai I built years ago. Website is CoteLcoatings.com Non the less the glossy shine wore off in 2 months on mine, flattened out and looked good. According the website back then you had use a floor cleaner to restore the shine.

You should have removed the flares and did them separately. Much cleaner job. Same as painting a vehicle. Either tape everything off (botch job), or take extra time and remove trim, etc for a better job. All 4 flares can be removed in 15 minutes. Reason I'm saying this is, the rubber flare edge that is between the body and flare. Anything on that will not stay. It will start to peel.

Anyhoo, It looks good. I also agree about not painting over the Herculiner. It won't stay, and the stuff will dull out in a few weeks or so.

One thing to keep in mind. The duller the finish, the harder it is to clean, and look clean....:D

I always found the flat look easier to keep looking clean, over glossy paint. No worries about water spots etc, hit with a pressure wash and air dry down the road.
