You had the money to dump on stuff right then and there and changed you mind while buying stuff. If I had had that kind of money I may have been in the same boat as you. Over the last couple years my build goals have changed almost as much as yours, I just was going through ideas and not parts like you. haha

well the thing a lot people dont know, i had permission to build my rig before we buy the next place.... as it is much more difficult to build a rig once you own a big place

we like keep ~10k in the bank at all times, when we buy a new place in 2014 we want to have ~20k at all times.... that safety blanket is the difference between bankruptcy and living comfortably.....

but what i pulled last march, ~13k in parts ordered in two weeks will never happen again lol..... I dont think people realize what I did there lol
    3k in beadlocks
    2k in tires
    2k in crawl box
    2k in suspension
    2k in bumper
    2k in misc....

I had never spent so much before in a small period my bank had to call to make sure I wasnt hacked lol

I put $12,500 down on my Tacoma which is the most I have ever spent in one go. haha After that is was probably my gears at $2.5K.

I live with a decent safety blanket as well, although I will be digging into it a little soon I think. My wife graduates in May though and as a Physical Therapist it shouldn't be too hard for her to find a job making over $20/hr so life will be good after that:cool: Then I just have 1 year of school and I should graduate and hopefully find a job. Dual income FTMFW!

we are considering not having kids..... weve been trying/not trying for the past year or so.... things havent gone well twice lost. We love our lifestyle of doing what we want....

idk maybe its selfish but just something we've been discussing lately, the only thing now is hopefully i can get my self back into physically good health again.... stupid being fat again lol

but anyways sidetracked again being D.I.N.K's is awesome!

I'm pretty sure I don't want kids... haha The wife is kind of 50/50 there. We definitely don't want kids for the next couple years or so. I think we'll just have a couple dogs instead:D Dogs are more fun anyway and not so whiney:p

Exactly. I don't know anyone with kids that's happy. The best birth control is to hang out with friends that do have kids. About ten minutes of screaming fits and my wife is cured for at least a year lol.

Exactly! My wife is in a pediatrics class this semester where they learn how to do physical therapy on kids and they made them all go to a local elementary here that specializes in kids with mental disabilities and they had to work with the kids and she said it was a complete nightmare and good birth control. She also had to help do an evaluation for Pre-schoolers to try to detect mental and physical shortcomings by running them through an obstacle course of various activities and she said that was awful too. haha I always jokingly tell her that I just keep hoping I'm sterile so the choice to have kids or not is already made for us. haha

Ha ha ha kinda funny you guys are talking about this. I get my dose of kids when I go to my brothers house and then yep that reminds me Why I am not having kids. Love the little buggers as long as they are not mine :p my dog suffices perfectly fine in place of kids. But then again I don't have a girlfriend/wife for the same reason. I always seemed to be role when I was in a relationship.

Nope, I don't plan on having any for a long time! Although I have to say, my friends little boy is a pretty badass kid, he is 9 months and I have more fun with him than I do with her sometimes haha
