I did. In fact it was minutes after they updated the website and sent emails saying they would be shipping them back on a first come basis. They send them with a requirement of adult signature so you'll get an email w/the tracking info as well as a phone call the day before letting you know.

I can certainly understand that. I had the same feeling with my S&W Shield when it had its trigger recall, and it was only gone for a week at the local S&W gunsmith; not back at the factory.

 

Finally got an IWB holster for my cz82



It is a crossbreed copy, I believe it is a homestead holster if I remember correctly, comfortable and it carries and conceals well.

Now I just need to have it cerakoted, get new grips, and install my night sites that I have for it

 

Cousin got a stoeger m3500, it's in jail till the 5th though.

He doesn't have any unpaid tickets as far as i know, but i have heard that a few peoples background checks got paused for unknown reasons.

Got a working Savage Model 24 .22LR/.410 at an estate sale for $150. Looking at the markings on it I guess it was made in 1962 or 1963. The bores are exceptionally clean, all the metal is rust free, the butt stock has a 6 inch long scratch the rest of the wood is fine just in need of a little sanding and re-finishing.

I broke it all down, and the only thing I find needing repair is the 410 firing pin return spring is broken, it still fires just that the firing pin slides back a forth on its own. This is common on the early models and i have orderd the part from http://www.gunpartscorp.com along with a selector button kit "just in case" as the one in the rifle is a bit old.

Wish I could find more of the Savage Model 24 series for as reasonable price.
