I had to pop off the whole panel which required taking off the rear panel and a bunch of other stuff. I'm looking for the Crutchfield data sheet for the install.

 

I didn't remove my back panel when I took my side panels off. You just need to finagle it a little differently.

I was actually planning to remove the jump seats and that pad that runs along the rear of the cab below the windows anyway.

I am hoping to add about 2" of extra room between the passenger seat and the back of the cab for my fridge. It fits right now but I have to move the seat forward which makes it a bit upright and cramped for someone sitting there.

Did a little camping/wheeling with some of the Alabama guys.


Also got my sliders sprayed with raptor liner on the tops before I left for Bama but didn't have time for drying and install so they'll go one when I get home!

I'm pretty sure on 95-00 the covers just pop off. But 01-04 you have to take the panel off.

And can I ask a question? Why do you care about the rear speakers? You're only going to hear one of them (LR).

 

Bro lean is front high, I have rake.. & wouldn't have it any other way.. It actually looks close to level in person

Installed my Hi Lift mount in bed and wired winch.
Now I just load the Taco on the trailer behind the RV and its off to Utah for a 12day wheelin trip..

 

It took all of 30 minutes. I've pulled the center console on the dash apart enough it is easy-peasey. The damn bulb cost $5.

They can also be changed without disassembling the center console. Just pull the three knobs, remove the faceplate, and then there's three screws to take it out.

Nice! I'll be getting those the next time a bulb goes out. Much cheaper and probably last plenty longer.

 

How much is not required to not rub?

 

every truck is different. Just have to flex it while turning. That'll show you if your rubbing. Took me 4 times with OEM fenders. Still rubbed a bit..and now with new fenders ahve cut them 3 times and still rub as well.
