Mounted my new Blizzaks with Raceline Renegade 6 rims in the garage today since Belle Tire wouldn't do it with my decline of TPMS. Shouldn't be a problem for me since I mostly drive under 20 miles a day and the stock rims are sitting in the garage for the truck to pick up the signal so no light to glare at me. I did the same for my Camry and when I got about 40 miles away from home the TPMS light would come on but reset when I arrived home. Savings.......$250. Can't wait for the first blizzard to hit Northern Mich!ImageUploadedByTapatalk1382851437.292426.jpg

Looking good! Blizzaks are always a good choice. I'm trying out some BFG Winter Slaloms this season.

You can get 40 miles away from your sensors and they still read?

I work 16 miles away from home. I'll never have a TPMS light in my truck in normal driving then...jackpot!

Naw for some reason it's the time away from sensors or the mileage reached while not receiving the signal from the sensors that illuminates the TPMS dummy light but for one of those reasons the light seems to come on at about the same spot when I take off for my cabin.

Finally got around to putting on my Blizzaks on TRD Rugged Trail Baja rims that I bought here on TW with no sensors. I have had the same experience with the sensors. One shop would not mount the wheels due to not having the sensors but a little gas station did the swap for me for $20. Loving the winter tire wheel set & really digging the black Baja rims. Makes me want them all year round now.

Just put four Blizzaks on my moms Ford Focus. The thing drives like a dream now in the snow. If I had the cash I would do the same for my taco.

    Bone stock for now....
For you guys that had shop issues, were you dropping off the wheels/tires at the shop or having them remove and install while your truck is there?

I called a shop today and got a quote to drop off 4 rims/tires to be mounted. I figured if they busted my stones about TPMS I'd tell them I was using them to make a coffee table or I was custom building an old 4x4 or they were getting shipped to Brazil. Whatever.

Mine was waiting for the swap.
My winter set was in the bed of truck already mounted ready to be bolted on.
Usually a friend does it for me in his driveway but I waited too long, tons of ice/snow in driveway & too friggin cold.
So I do not think in your situation you will have a prob not getting them mounted on just your wheels.
Like you said coffee tables lol.....

What I couldn't believe is they wanted me to know my tire pressure but didn't care if I spun off the highway. Just crazy....
Well they are on now & working great still no light a flashing
