When you cut it, use an electric carving knife after using a paint pen to draw the lines (on the side that will be down). Also cut to the inside of the lines by an eighth of an inch at least. The results are much, much better. As to scope up or down, really doesn't matter. Just keep at least an inch of foam between the top of the scope and the case, pressure from the top and bottom foam on the sides of the rifle will keep it from shifting much during a drop. On all of mine, I arrange it scope up. I would also recommend not having the magazine in it, nor the bipod on. Both of these take up space and require more cuts. I'll text you a picture of one of mine.

So I went to a tire place today (tread quarters) in Virginia beach just to see what they had and ask some questions. The guy shot me down and told me to forget about 255/85/16 and 285/75/16 (what I'm split on) because it will "make my teeth rattle when I drive" (referring to a stiff ride). He wanted to put me on 305/70/16 but I don't want something that wide I don't think, and I think he just said that because he didn't have the other 2 sizes in stock or available to order.

I'm ordering my lift tomorrow, reel me back in here guys.

He's full of it. Usually you'll get better tire prices online (not always but it tends to be the case). As far as the size he's full of it, I'm running 285/75/16 and it feels smoother than stock to me.

TQ is causing a lot of hate and frustration. Do not trust them with anything!

Stevens is great so far. Great night... winds have died down and fires are blazin!

I went from 285 to 305. Not that big of a deal. Just at full stuff it rubs a bit in the rear. I have to do the axle relocation mod.
