No other pics at the moment. I'm supposed to be getting a FJ seat today (Wednesday), so pics of the new seat and a few poser shots for Wed night. :D

Rides well. Not much different than previously. Mostly felt the difference in my seat actually. The lower back support improved quite a bit once I got the back up a little higher.

Ever heard of Haspin Acres? It's just less than 3 hours away, out in Laurel, In. Another buddy/TW'er from Dayton has been going out there to wheel, told him to text me when he goes that way. 3 Hrs is much more doable than 6/7hrs into PA or KY. We'll have to get out there at some point next year.

Nice! I bet those will be comfy. I will be expecting these pics lol.

I didn't know if it would make much a difference, maybe a little stiffer was what I was expecting.

That place sounds familiar, never been there. 3hrs doesn't seem too bad. We definitely will need to do some wheeling out there.

I've got a transfer case skid in the works :spy:

I don't know about stiff, but it feels solid if that makes sense. Like coming down off a road bump, don't feel any slop from the back end.

They fucked up my seats. I have a P/S FJ Bucket and some other giant seat that looks like it belongs in a van...and is gray in color. 1 out of 2 ain't bad....

Called the lady I've delt with @ LKQ, "Hi, uhh...1 seat is right, the other is totally wrong"...."WHAT?" So she is currently tracking down what happened to the D/S seat.

Shitty camera phone shot of D/S FJ Bucket. Cleaned up, was pretty hit on the dirty front. Took what wires/sensors/airbags out/off that I will not be able to use. Inserted a piece of memory foam into the lower back section.

Will be taking a whiz wheel to the mounts, their icky. Rusty and the paint has flaked off. Whiz it, spray them back over with some black spray paint.

Seat is a nifty little thing. Has the normal recline, but also has 2 other knobs for 3 total. 1 lever tilts the entire seat forward or backward on a ratcheting mechanism. The other knob, raises and lowers the front of the actual seat portion.

Will be in the truck tomorrow. Did throw it in while on lunch break for a test see. Gonna look fuckin' killer.

Also had an ordeal getting some Gun-Metal plasti-dip. Ordered 2 cans from Amazon. Got sent 2 cans of "Smoke" plasti-dip. Seller was on it hardcore and sent me out the right stuff the day after contacting them. 2 weeks or so to get 2 can of some Gun-Metal plasti-dip.

Hanging out waiting for mom to get back from the store so I can hit the hardware store for some 10x1.25 bolts and get this 2nd FJ seat in.

Sienna likes the seat! Goddamn cat.

Looking good. Such a better option than the 2.5 person bench seat.

Are you going to build another custom console for between the seats or see if you can find a factory one from an access/dc?

    Appreciate the positive feedback fellas!!

Bench seat is blah. Civic seats were blah and a horrible, horrible idea, how I got them in the truck is beyond me. These look like they belong, love the black fabric.

Don't know. Next up is a front bumper. At the moment I like the empty space, I throw my bookbag between the seats.

Thanks as well Kyle. We'll have to meet up soon and BS for a few. Going to be out near your area probably end of this week.

New seats look much better. Inserting the memory foam was a great idea since the fj seats kind of lack in the lumbar area.

Everything about the FJ seats is very solid. A new favorite.

Dig the way they look. Wanted the black cloth. No complaints about the ride so far, 20 minute ride to work, 30/40 minute ride home. Seat height is back to where it should be.

Everything about the Civic seats was just so wrong. So, so wrong.

    Thanks Fella's!!!!

I am 2nd in from the left.

As you can see. Currently, I am running nothing up front. No OE bumper, no aftermarket bumper. Nothing. The frame below the headlights and grille is spray painted dark grey. I have gotten in 0 trouble because of it with law enforcement. Not the safest thing in the world, but I am aware of the topic and drive accordingly. I honestly kind of like the look with nothing up front.

I had a bumper on that I designed/sorta fabbed up, but it was ugly and not very good. I took it off. Here's a pic.

Next will be to get the front bumper taken care of and get something on that looks professional and quality. Have brute force in the rear and have been talking with Billy about having him make me a custom tube front. It's at the "billy needs a deposit" stage and we'll get moving down that road. Later this week its looking like on getting him what he needs to start. So then....a good wait until I pick up a bumper at a Fastenal.

I picked up some Gun-Metal plasti dip, plan will be to repaint below the HLs/grille in that, then put a brute force custom front on!

....And after that. Gonna beef up the rear end. Locked is 100% part of that plan. Gears, maybe. Maybe even a totally different rear end from another truck. Not thinking to much about this one at the moment. By my birthday 2014 (August) I'd like to have everything I've mentioned completed.
