It isn't a surprise, it was common knowledge that Oregon would jump us back because of their strength of schedule. Only was FSU gets back into the top 2 is with a Bama or Oregon loss. So don't be a D!ck about it.

 

I wasn't. Just asking because I briefly saw a comment yesterday saying we shouldn't be #2 the way we played. Yes the first half sucked. Believe me, I have no voice from the first half. I was there. Mariota couldn't hit the broad side of a barn the first half.

 

Because Pac-12 They should be behind Baylor. We'll find out if Baylor is legit in the coming weeks, but they have looked better to me.

 

Y'all tried to give away the game in the first half but Hundley kept giving it back. There was talks that FSU would remain 2 just because of almost 300 yards of offense and 35 points in the first quarter

 

We have a possibility of jumping back next week since oregon is on a bye week and we are playing Miami who is 7. After that though it will come down to a loss by either of those two to help us stay up there.

 

I was honestly surprised that they didn't keep their #2 ranking. I thought that they played a much more complete game and completely overmatched their opponent

 

Miami is this year's version of last year's Notre Dame. High ranked team who barely beats nobodies.

 

They've looked completely awful in a few games.

 

I'm not saying Miami is an amazing team. UCLA hasn't beat anybody either though. Their best win is again Nebraska (a team who just lost to Minnesota). But apparently Oregon beating them was enough to jump us.

 

Yes I said that but it was said before Oregon pulled away and ucla still had a chance

 

It was a surprise.....I was pissed after the 2nd fumble at the end zone and went to bed. Woke up next morning, heard the score on the radio & almost shit myself! WTF??!!

Go to Hell Tennessee week ended as it should. Aside from the fumble at the goal line, the first half was a thing of beauty. The soul-crushing 88 yard pick-six with 30 seconds left in the half was the sweet icing on the cake.

I wasn't at the game. I wonder how many times their hillbilly band played rocky top.

I'm a little sad that Mizzou didn't win. My cousin (sophomore there) was pretty sad. I didn't have the heart to tell her that Mizzou was always a paper tiger, and had no shot of winning out. They'll lose to TAMU and maybe Ole Miss and UT before it's done. They were never going to win the East.

el. oh. el.

A rematch would be nice. I don't think it will be as close as last year, though. Honestly, I don't worry about Alabama against anybody in the East this year.

I just hope auburn loses before the Iron Bowl so that we can wrap up the West before playing them. The ONLY thing that would hurt more than auburn beating us and derailing our 3-peat would be them beating us, derailing the 3-peat, AND keeping us from winning the West.

I remember it very well. That drunk y'all had for a QB had the game of his life.

More importantly than me remembering is that Saban remembers, and I guarantee he'll use that game as a warning if it ends up being SCar vs. Bama in the SECC.
