I would rather have a SBR AR15 in pistol caliber than a MP5 for duty use. Sometimes (quite often) rifle rounds are to much for the job. Now I'm only running one platform where under an extreme stress situation I don't have to worry about two different platform with 2 different controls. Just train 1. MP5s either ran like crap or scalded dogs there was no in between.

There IS a reason why MP5s are being replaced by 5.56 SBR ARs across the world for CQB use.

I'm not a door kicker, so not much of a concern for me, but 300 BLK still seems to offer the best of both worlds for CQB. Anything from a 220 gr bullet at 1000 fps to a 110 gr bullet at 2300, all out of a 9" AR.

If you are going to go pistol caliber carbine... Kriss Vector is the only choice. Such an amazing weapon. It's a contradiction full of awesome.[IMG]

Rifle Caliber > Pistol Caliber in every situation. Even when penetration through walls matters, independent studies have found 5.56 actually does better than 9mm with regards to over penetration. The lighter bullet tends to destabilize very quickly when it encounters dry wall.

The petaluma range. I use to shoot there all the time back when I was in college at sonoma state.

Gotta love people can tell from 1 shot... What's crazy is there are deer that walk through the range, and don't even care about the shooting. There were 4 deer on the other side of that fence.

When did you go to SSU. I graduated in 03, went to Rancho Cotati for high school, and was actually born on Copeland Creek :)

I went to sonoma 2007 to 2011. I had to keep my guns off campus freshman year at a friends. Then I moved off campus to a condo on racquet club cir for the other 3 years.

Agreed this was the reason in this design. NOT FOR HUNTING. To bad they try to advertise it as a good hunting round, which it's not. We watch pigs get hit by 300Bo All the time and run off wounded where the 6.8 just lays em low.

The helo video? That's Chris Lucci, owner at Wild River Ranch. That's where my partner and I teach classes with him and run pig hunts using suppressed 6.8s with night vision by TNVC.

Chris was the primary tester for LWRC and federal and because he's a cardiologist as well he did the full necropsy report and addressed its performance in DC for possible further use.

Wow that's pretty cool. I've always thought about going on a hog hunt there. We have plenty in Florida but one of my bffs from in country lives in Memphis and is always wanting to go hog hunting together.
