    I go 3-5 times a year.
It depends on desert racing schedule for me.
Usually I run a bike out there also, along with my truck. I might go during the week on thanksgiving. Ill keep you posted

besides the fact my core support is falling apart and not having any more tabs on my passanger light, i didnt feel like dealing with fixing it all weekend so i just took it all off. and for the hood, same thing that happened to Rj happened to me, the hoop on for it to latch on broke. didnt feel like having the hood fly up on me if the weld broke.

other than that, cole and i had a great time. you really get a second perspective of glamis if you have a bike too and i loved it! other than$15 dollar cases of water, i had an fantastic time.

oh yea, that was very very safe meet tooo. :)

You obviously don't have much sand experience Doug.

Getting stuck and going on "Missions" is what its all about. The whole Glamis experience involves this!! Anybody who has been there knows this (especially when 2wd trucks are mobbin around) As you can see everyone had a blast. Krish and RJ rocked there trucks all weekend with minimal problems

    right!

glamis puts everything to its ultimate test.

your truck will run hotter than it ever has before, harder than it ever has, in softer sand than it has ever seen. if your truck/quad is going to break, it will happen in the dunes haha.

had a blast indeed! the late night resue mission was fun too!

and i did get stuck twice in my 4wd....... after i duned it all the way to china, i parked like a jackass and got stuck. but the faithful carpet got me unstuck! haha
the second time was right in the beginning of the rescue mission. i went over a dune and PLOP, i find my self wedged in a witches eye, front and back bumper touching sand. but luckily i didnt even hit the gas once i was in there cause i already knew i was stuck, and i would have just made it way worse.
a simple tug with my dads rhino got me right out.

caleb was stuck pretty gnarly, stuck in a razorback, sideways, straight up and down, took like 6-10 pulls to get him out. he was a little closer to flat ground, and my dad in his rhino kept the strap hooked up and assisted him though the dunes. only almost nerfed the rhino 1 time haha.

then Krish and RJ were in a pretty big bowl, luckily they didnt bury them selfs. didnt even look like they were stuck but they werent going anywhere with the 1 tire fire haha.
1st strap broke, but we would have gotten him out first try. 2nd one was a charm. ill tell you what, towing a truck through the big dunes, trying to haul ass and make it up straight up dunes at 3am with a 4wd towing a 2wd 1 tire fire truck sure is interesting!
    it was a blast.

its funny, right there is where it kind of starts to crest over, and thats right where i start slowing down and losing power hard core. it gets super soft in that area, i guess thats where the 4wd helps out haha

Yeah I was actually really impressed with how effortlessly my truck made it up that one side, when we go back I want to try and make it straight up the face

yeah that side is pretty easy normally as long as you got the powa to make it happen.
    i just lose power :(

i have made it up the face before, but this weekend there was no chances of that. sand was real soft this weekend.

    you would have made it!!
