I told him he has to change the stick to We go where we like... as long as get pavement.
He just got the lift installed last week. He paid nearly $8K for the lift, wheels, tires and some exhaust all from 4 wheel parts. I told him he would be better off putting that into a new 4x4
I also told him if he really wanted it, order the lift and we can install in one day, then order wheels and tires from tire rack. Would've saved thousands.

 

Actually, it was. Just got under my truck to mess with my winch and damn... Gonna have to change my damage report... Damage pics soon

 

I definitely will make the next outing. Dont personally know any of you but that looked like a lot of fun.

think it has to do with how your line was positioned? was it center on the drum when you pulled?

 

I saw his truck and was like damn, never seen a titan out here let me get out of the way! And hey, he went where he liked! Better than most trucks out here.
Maybe I'm just too cheap to pay someone to do that for me, but that's a lot of $$$.
Get the 4x4, if a DB kit, should swap over, right?

 

Nah, winch is perfectly fine now. Just slipped in the elongated holes on one side and was skewed. Got it straighten out and tightened down good. Also respooled my winch line.
I found out that if you remove this bracket, you can access the winch bolts. Hoses are rubber so they just bend out of the way.

You can see the bolt slid forward. Gotta look close

All the damage was to the skids. So glad I have them! Thanks Tyler Pelfrey!



That's bashed in pretty good

This used to be flat too. Cocoa is also checking out the damage.

Not sure how the exhaust crossover didn't get damaged, but this part did.

3rd member. Its not leaking tho, so not too bad...

Cleaned most of the crushed rock out of the drain bolt.

Nothing on the frame or drive shaft, so not bad. Atleast I got a little bit of real trail damage

 

Still not too bad. New pics of the skid look worse, but at least they did their job!

Looks like its time for a diff skid!

Cool outing! Good to meet everyone. My kids and I enjoyed it all. Kept my nose clean and no battle scars report. Made it out in one peice albeit dirty as hell.
