Hey guys, so tell me what yall think, I have a 3" rough country lift right now on my 2012 and its all good, but looking to get a 6" Rough Country Lift soon with 35" mud tires and a 5"-6" custom alcan leaf pack and eventually maybe Icon coilovers.

So I have 16" XD enduro rims right now and love them, I also have wheel spacers already, really hoping I could keep the rim setup (picture below) I have now when i move up to a 6" lift even though its not really "recommended" My rims stick out quite a bit now so i think i should be ok. tell me what yall think.

Looks like that lift recommends 17" wheels w 4 5/8 backspacing and I believe your wheels are 16 x 8 0 offset w 4.5 bs. The backspacing on your wheels is fine but the diameter might interfere with something on the lift. You might be able to run your wheels w or w/o the spacers just depends on the lift. Most people I see running this lift are running the 17's

You won't know for sure until you try it. The issue is with the tie rods. On DB kits the tie rods mount on top of the knuckle instead of the bottom. And the tie rod end will hit the inside lip of smaller diameter wheels. This is why all the kits require 17" or even 18" wheels.

But I am running 16x8 wheels with 1.25" spacers added.....so it "is" possible to make it work. It all depends on the wheel backspacing & the size of the wheel spacer. My tie rod ends clear the wheel lip & wheel weights by just a few millimeters......but it works. ;)

I have not taken any pics of the suspension yet, I've only owned it for a week.

I love the look but not the rubbing when turning or the super aggressive tread. They don't provide much grip on pavement at all and the ride suffers some. I ordered a set of BFG KM2's but put a hold on the order this morning. My truck has been re geared and I'm worried a smaller tire will be worse to deal with than the rubbing. Either way, the Iroks are going. I'm not a hard core off roader anymore and a standard mud terrain tire will still look killer and ride better.

Right now I'm running 65 mph on my gps while the gauge reads 72, the rpms at that speed are 2500/2600 in 6th gear. I'll really kill the mpg with 35" tires. I'm not sure what to do right now, I have some more research to do though.

A pair of Road Armor bumpers are in my future too, which will end the slight rub up front. I'm afraid to call for pricing on them though!

I also need to fab a mount for rear mud flaps before I get pulled over, I'm going to wait for LEO to notice I have no front license plate though, it looks way cleaner without it.

You must have 4.88s. I have 37s and 4.88s on my 6-speed and have pretty much the same MPH and RPMs you just described. Definitely don't get 35s if you do a lot of highway. There are quite a few 37s made in All Terrains.

Thanks for the info. No way I am going to spend to re-gear for smaller tires and this truck has plenty of power with this combo.

If you want to go down to a 35" from a 37" but worried about your gearing then you could always go with a 35" tire on the heavier side. Just a thought for you....

This is a tough decision. Stay with 37's or go to 35's. AT or MT tire? Nitto Terra Grappler, KM2's, Toyos???

I'm fine with loosing height, but not excited about increasing rpm. Maybe a less aggressive 37 will not rub, the side lugs are huge on the Iroks

35's will be nicer on truck parts then 37's I am regeared to 4.56 and I am about 2500 at 65ish.
