cut the fuck out of them carefully ;) the fenders that is.........cab mount was a butcher job.

    33s are easy.

    1) make sure you have a good alignment (low castor will give you hell)
    2) do the standard cab mount cop. no need for anything too agressive. you could even buy Jerry's cab mount chop plates if you're going to stick with 33s.
    3) either take off the flares, or jsut give them a little trim at the bottom, where you rub. (this is so easy i did mine with a exacto knive when i still had the flares on)
    4) if you do have slightly loser castor (less than 2*), you may need to swin a hammer at your pinch weld a couple times.
    5) have beer, because you just fit 33s on your truck.

The drivetrain will hold up to them just fine, especially since you're not 3+ inches higher than normal.

Ah so an assload of cutting. I googled the cab plate and came across a forum where someone sells it. I think his name on here is JLee.

Most likely will keep my small tires until im bald and do this so i can have it ready for when i upgrade. I still dont have a lift but i would rather just do coil overs and keep it low like you did (i take corners waaay to fast to have this truck lifted too high lmao).

Not 100% sure ill be able to tackle this but ill google it and look around for photos and measurements.

I think this and a hybrid bumper will look sick

Im confused. Do you mean the bumper or the way i intend to copy another forum members way of fitting 33s?

Hybrid bumpers are lighter and still protect the truck. Not as much as a plate bumper but enough for my needs.

If you mean the way i intend to fit 33s then im even more confused. Even rock crawlers use tires to gain ground clearance instead of lift. Jeeps take off their fenders, cut and use spacers to try to fit 37s and use a minimal lift if they intend to crawl (without tipping). The lower your center of gravity the better really.

However, if i was a mud hog (i wouldnt be driving something with IFS most likely) i would lift my vehicle 6 or more inches, slap on the biggest tires i could, and drive really slow through mall parking lots.

So if my function is to look cool and only go through mud then sure this method might not work. Instead i would rather look cool, hit the trails, and be able to take a u-turn over 10mph

Lol. I at times come off as a noob but im not. Im just a noob to ifs. Every truck i ever owned had a solid front axle so this is new to me. Hard to get used to at times.

Sometimes i regret making the switch so i go find a construction area behind the houses and rip through it just to build the confidence in the truck lol

Theres a trail i uses to fuck around on when i first came to houston. If i can get 33s to fit then ill be ok on that trail. Not sure about my approach angle though. Might need a 2 inch lift to level it out and give me a better angle.
