HELP me sell my 2012 TX PRO :(

Gentlemen,

It looks like I am going to have to let my baby go before I even got to know her. I may throw her in the local auto trader this week. I paid about $29k for her just a few months ago. Do you think I can sell her without taking a loss???

Please don't try to convince me to keep her the last thing I want to do is let her go for some sissy crossover but it's just too impractical for my family at the moment and I cannot listen to the wife complain another day!

 

Oh, man. Sorry to hear. This should sell quickly, though.

 

Keep the truck unless you need to carry 5 passengers. Tell your wife you need the truck to haul things (Home Depot, furniture, etc).

Does anyone have a link to pricing/values of a used TXPRO specifically??? I can't find any listed numbers for this particular model using KBB or NADA...

 

Thanks I love the truck I drove hundreds of miles to get it! As far as the $29k purchase price, that's what I paid for the truck used with 19,000 miles...just a few months ago. The dealer claimed that was a special price because I was making the trip from another state but I it's hard to tell with no resources to get accurate values on this model. I believe the sticker price on this truck new was around $35k.

 

Good luck getting 29k in this economy that truck loose more value after it step out of the dealer lot cars depreciate that's the bottom line. Good luck with sale but be prepared to take a hit.

 

Gelo I don't owe the whole $29k but are you saying I'll lose $5k because of the taxes and financing alone??? The truck is def worth more than $24k at the moment.

 

This is simple man ask what you want and hope for the best.

Take lots of pics, post it up on every website you can and go talk to several dealers to find the best value. You may have to eat some loss and chalk it up to a lessons learned on planning/consulting with your better half.

 

Your also the second owner and whoever buys it would be its third. Imo that won't help out resale. Glws though it's a good looking truck.
