Yeah I still like it darker and with the windshield tinted. I believe my wrx had 5 all the way around and 27 on the windshield. Could have been 30 on the windshield.

 

Spray brake cleaner, starter fluid, etc. around intake with engine running to check for intake leak

 

Once you tint your windshield you will never own a vehicle w/o a tinted windshield.

 

check your vacuum hoses...clean your MAF sensor

borrow an ultra gauge so you can check your A/F ratios to see if you're running lean...you can also see what your AF sensors are reading...

 

did you drive through any water?

 

30 is too dark for the windshield IMO. I usually keep it under 50 because it doesn't take much to make a difference. You're not looking to make it difficult to see in you're looking to cut down on heat from the sun & UV and it doesn't take much tint to accomplish this. 3M makes a special tint film specifically for this purpose that works perfectly.

No it kicked on driving at like 50mph up a hill on pavement at a high elevation. My buddy lives at like 10700. Wonder if that had anything do to with it.

I don't know anyone with an ultra gauge for my runner. Will have to check all that at work tomorrow. It's not driving any different.

 

ultra gauge is not vehicle specific...unless you don't have an OBDII plug

but i use my UG for my truck, my triumph and kayla's truck when needed

 

I've got a buddy on Harmony & College that does taint if you're interested.

 

I'd rather have tint on my windshield than taint sir.
