I think internships are harder to get with a lower gpa though, at least that's how I felt when I went to a career fair

 

You just gotta land that first one with a somewhat solid GPA. But honestly you can overcome almost any of that with pure bullshit at a career fair, just strike up some kind of unique conversation with the representatives there that will make you stand out. It's easier if you're competing with a bunch of engi-nerds that never leave their dorm rooms (not even to shower ) but the concept stays the same. But regardless, the interviewer is still a person and you just gotta appeal to them. I've seen way too many dumb girls get internships that they were in no way the best candidate for just cause they're hot and they knew it and used it on the dude interviewing them

 

I don't know about that. Go to a place tell them you are willing to work for free just require a little work on their end to supervise you and what not.

 

exactly. all you need to do is get your foot in the door somewhere and show what you can do to move up or get the experience and apply elsewhere
