So I have OME front suspension with the stock UCAs that have obviously seen better days.

My question is, Is it worth it to buy new UCAs? What exactly would that do?

and Where would I get them/What brand UCA should I purchase?

    thanks guys

I think its worth it, but it mainly depends on the driving you mostly do. The Uniball is MUCH stronger than the OEM Ball joint, and allows for more travle. ALso, many aftermarket UC's correct Caster lost when lifting.

would i be expecting to pay in the ballpark of 600-800 for them?
    thats what ive been finding

seems sort of expensive since my whole front suspension cost around 400 for the parts.

TC's an be had for around $600.00. If you get the UCA's that use a Ball Joint, they will be around $400.00

If you have the extra cash spluge on the Uniball UCA's. More wheel travel. And tire width to UCA clearance. Much beefer and corrects caster when lifting your truck. I think anytime you can beef up your suspension, don't skimp on it.

ok, so when i took my truck to the alinement shop after i lifted it they said it went right back to spec, so how are the uca's gonna fix my wandering issues if it is already good with stock uca's and alinement at spec? i lifted it 3" and i took it back for wandering issues once, i just want to know how these work, and if it will correct and eliminate wandering issues, not just make it better. any help is welcome thanks guys

-The new UCAs will put your allignment back to the correct specs. Once you lift your truck 3" or higher your stock UCA's are flexed to the point where the tires will wonder and the camber won't be able to be adjusted correctly. I'm having this issue right now myself...TC UCA's are on the way, then 5100 Billys and Coil Overs. I hope this helped, its hard to explain ya know? lol

yeah im still confused, how much did the new uca's set you back, and if it made the difference. it feels on the highway like i get a breeze and im halfway in the next lane, and once i feel like i have a handle on it, i over correct and on the other side.... uca's sound like a good fix thanks
