After extensive research, I think 255/80/r17 is the route on shoes. Anyone have these on the Stealth 6 with a 3" lift? Pics if so please

I would be running that size but I found a good deal on 285s I couldn't pass up.

Satoshi'd grill. blacked out badges. aftermarket sound system. De-chromed and color matched. OME 885s + Dakars with 3rd leaf removed. LR UCAs. Scs stealth 6 with 285 duratracs. BAMF sliders
I considered it, but a 8.5" wheel is a little wide for such a tall skinny tire. It will leave the rim more exposed to rocks, and it would probably be easier to pop a bead when aired down offroad. I am really happy with 285s on this wheel.

Anyone running/ know if these will work with maxtrac spindles? From the numbers maxtrac states are needed in sure they'll work, just wondering if anyone has done this already? Also 295/70/17 should fit on an 8.5" wheel correct? Thanks!

I received my wheels and tires yesterday, both delivered by Vin in his awesome looking Taco! The wheels are exactly what I'd expected. The matte black finish is perfect and the design just looks great, especially in person. Pictures do not do it justice! Vin is a stand up individual, had great customer service, and is very personable!

A+ for Vin and SCS!

Not sure about the spindles, but yes the 295/70r17 should fit just fine

I was one of the lucky guys who got shipped out on friday!! UPS reports nov 1 delivery here in canada :)

Pretty excited to see them even though they won't be going on the truck until spring! Keeping the Yokohama snow tires on the stock TRD sport rims for winter.

You can definitely run 295s on an 8.5" wheel. Personally, I have 315/70/17 on my truck. You're good up to 37";).

Thanks for the kind words Chapman! Make sure to post some pics when you get a chance. The white and black theme is always a hit.

A bunch are going out today including yours. We've got 2 UPS trucks scheduled to pick up our shipments.

I don't know if I could wait that long:p. I would probably put them on for a day just to get it out of my system.

    Bilstein 5100’s (x4), 275/65/20 Cooper XLT AT3’s
Few more to choose from in a 255/75/17 not as tall obviously but if you want a skinny tire and some more options might be worth looking into.
