Been watching this over and over for the past two weeks. Never gets old.

 

Just found out my truck was throwing the 6 cylinder misfire code because I have a cracked cylinder head.

 

How does one crack a cylinder head??? I would like to avoid this lol.

Really sucks to hear, brah :-( I hope you get it back on it's feet soon. Let us know if we can all pitch in a dollar or something. Any engine work is expensive and I'd sure like you guys to be there for me when shit goes down lol.

 

Trucks up at my uncles shop in Riverside getting worked on but its not his first priority since he's not making any money on it. He's planning on looking around for a used one to cut down on cost, but its looking like its going to be another week or two until he can get it done since he needs to pull the motor and find the parts. I've put 17,000 miles on the truck since owning it in a little over a year, wasn't planning on this happening but what can I really expect buying a used truck with 112k miles on it. Biggest inconvenience right now is getting around, I live by SDSU but work at UTC so I'm relying on my gf to drive me to and from work. I'll keep you guys updated, thanks for offering to help out

An NX? OMG, just a downsized Dakkar bike! But thanks though. I am building a bike to race so it needs to be modern. The NX was a bike that flopped big time, super heavy, really slow, handled like crap, but had a neat fairing on the front!

Low boost turbo setup (6psi), no fuel mods necessary! Get some pinktop injectors and install a small turbo and you should be able to get an easy 220-250 hp...

Ah an old Supra motor eh? What do you mean turn key harness, you would need the rest of whatever vehicle to do that. Gets kinda tricky, best to have schematics for both the motor and the vehicle its going in.

Just sell it like it is and let the buyer figure it out, isnt worth the work if your selling it IMO.

I would consider buying if its CHEAP, just need it without exhaust or motor so I mean cheap! I will PM you anyway...I can pull the motor and exhaust and give it back to lower the price if willing to give ma a deal and I will give you he motor and exhaust back to sell..
