Nice. I really wanted a metal one, but it seems they are all plastic now. Maybe that's not a bad thing for something susceptible to bashing.

Gonna put some split loom on that exposed 4-pin harness wire near the sheet metal edge?

I just ran over to DMV on lunch break and ran the truck through inspection and renewed the registration for two more years.

2 year registration? That's awesome, I wish that was an option in Texas. Is the inspection good for 2 years also?

Yea after the vehicle is 5 years old you must start getting it inspected and renewed every year or every two years. two years is the max. We have to go to a state run facility to do this whereas several states can go to approved garages/mechanics.

Nope. I like living on the edge.

In reality it's tucked behind now. The picture was pre-zip ties.

Ha I don't need that good. The trailer I have now doesn't have brakes, but my next one will. I can leave the 4-flat and wire a 7 pin so I have both right? That would be ideal.

Haha eh, needs more lift in the rear. It sits slightly lower. Expos are in it's future.

I still have my flat 4 in there. I bought a 7 pin harness that utilizes the flat 4 plus crimp/solder/shrink connectors for the other 3 wires (well actually 4...you use a new ground wire). If I use a trailer with the flat 4 harness...i just unplug it from my 7 pin and I'm good to go.

    Here's the one I have:
    http://www.etrailer.com/Wiring/Tow-Ready/30717.html?feed=npn&gclid=CMfb2Z2KvboCFS9eQgodR1sAsg

Alternatively, if you have the real estate and want both connections readily available:
    http://www.etrailer.com/Wiring/Curt/C57674.html

Every damn time! It's one reason I waited to photobomb the trailer build thread. Tired of answering questions I would eventually answer later anyway.

While I was at college this past spring she started coming around, my Dad fed her peanuts since our dog died & he was retired/bored. She kept coming around for more and now that I've been back this summer & have been modding the hell outta my truck in the driveway, she comes and hops up in the cab to get my attention so I walk into the garage and get her peanuts
