Well hopefully my situation isn't the same as yours. I just ordered greasable bolts and bushings from Rockauto. I ordered the rear bolts from the dealer. All should be here by Wednesday.

I sent an email to Moog corporate on Friday after reading this thread, since I was curious. I got a phone call this morning from Robert at Federal Mogul who said that his research shows that the Moog kit is SUPPOSED to be for a single control arm. (meaning the two bolts were supposed to be one front and one rear) When I told him what everyone was having trouble with he said he would have to check into it since he does not oversee R&D or product application. He told me give him until Friday to see if he can find an answer. That is what I have found out so far.

Too funny, but I would like an exact explanation of these bolts application. In prepping my truck for sale I wanted to replace the seized front bushings so I could do a proper alignment. the vendor I get the hub parts from told me about the moog bolts (which I knew Scott was going to attempt installing). The vendor told me they were listed as "driver or passenger lower control arm "front bushing only" bolts. This is how they are listed in his system.

I just read this entire thread from start to finish. I want to grease the bolts before they seize (praying they're not already). Also curious about the greasable bolt and the whitelines.

Looks to be they give you front and rear bolts per box. I just took the bolts under the truck and they look to be the exact ones on the truck.

    And BOTH bolts are greasable.

And I am looking at the diagram. Looks like one bolt should have two 3's and the other should have a 2 and a 4??

Can't see great on my phone but looks like that's not what you got...?...

Nothing to do with you but after a decade of production these aftermarket parts suppliers need to step it up. I gave up on yota fixing the issues. They just want to sell you brand New lca's every couple years.

Steve, you're right! Either the printed illustration in the documentation is wrong or the part came assembled wrong.

    This.

I'd contact Rock auto and Moog. Send them the pics and ask them. What to do. I'd also ask them what way they should face. Part numbers in towards the lca or out so you can read them.

it shouldnt be that hard as they make the bushing as well

the problem is not with the bushing as stated earlier
the bushings work fine problem is the bolts for said rear are to wide...."dia"
there is no difference in innner dia from moog to oem bushings
as stated earlier problem is outer dia. of said bolts

this....but you would need 2 sets of bolts to get one set to do the fronts....
as the front n rear adjusters are of different size as stated earlier

    yes you can
you will notice cam adjuster #3 are smaller dia then 2 and 4

That's what I was thinking. It was just tough to compare the size of the washers to the ones one the truck. Thank you!

So you switch the washers to match the diagram? Are they removable? Do they match up with the washers on the truck?
