Ive got the belkin fm transmitter. Its a little more expensive than most of them, but it works great. Just gotta find the right station.

It's on the back of the unit. You'll see where it goes. It'll be CD1 & you get to it by pushing disc button to toggle between CD & CD1

I had the same problem. My RF transmitter (Monster FM) worked great in my Tundra but like hell in my Tacoma. I weighed all the options of buying new transmitter adding the PAC modules and a few others. What I decided was best for me was to go Headunit upgrade.

I purchased the Pioneer DEH-P3100ub at Best Buy and the Scoshe dash kit, totalling approx. $235.00 (I know they can be had for cheaper). Besides being able to use MP3/Ipod the sound quality is ten times better.

    Get a Metra iPod adapter. I think it's part PA15-TOY. Like $40.

Jump on that deal, man. I have a metra and it's awesome. Totally worth $20.

You can hook up your iPod (it charges the iPod while connected, too) and you can hook up another Aux port. It's great.

Use the search button....lots of discussions on this already.

    FM transmittors suck

Direct hookups are the best. They hook up to your CD port in the back of the stereo. Easy install.

I have an ipod2car unit (PXDP).
