Today me and the wife went out to look at a new car for her. We stopped at a local ford dealership to check out a car that she has been eyeing. So I park the truck and we go for a test drive. When we get back some guy is arguing with the salesman trying to buy my truck. The salesman is telling the guy that it is not for sale and the guy keeps insisting that if it is on the lot he should be able to buy it. I about cried that my Taco was getting more attention at the Ford dealership than any other vehicle at the time.

Lol, thats funny..... Ford, Gm, DOdge are getting hit by Toyota down here.... Toyota has only about 2-3 years in town and is selling more monthly than any of those.....

I was taking my son around town looking for a car for him. Every lot we went to the salespeople would come up and check out my Tacoma. It really makes ya feel good to have these people ask questions about your ride!

She wanted to check out the Shelby GT500. By no means is this the car she is going to get. She also started liking the Mazda 6, mostly for the fuel economy. She has a Mustang right now.

I just came from the local Toyota dealership where I picked up some door sill protectors. I walk outside with them and there are 3 salesmen looking at my truck. For some reason, they were fascinated by the A/T tires. I said, "Well, if Toyota would actually sell them with decent tires, this wouldn't be so unusual." They all agreed, of course.

Oh, and I also told them I'll be back for another Tacoma when they decide to start selling the diesel here and not one minute sooner

Ford-GM guy??? Isn't that like a oxymoron?? I didn't think that ford guys liked GM and vice versa.

i had some people looking at mine on a lot too. it was when i was truck shopping with a friend that wrecked his '95 yota. thought it was kinda funny that everyone went to mine rather than the others on the lot. lately mine's been getting lots of looks- except its cuz i removed my stock bumper so it looks a little odd at the time.
