New $500 increase in Tacoma base price

All I can say to those of you complaining about price:

Don't build it.

 

x2. Average dealer profit if they get sticker (which no one pays) is like, what, 15%? Of 30k, that's about $4500.

If you negotiate a couple thousand off, most dealers are working with single digit percentage profits.

Not that it matters when you understand how manufacturers incentivize total sales and pay dealerships bonuses for making sales goals, or that dealerships make the vast majority of their money on parts and service.
