And he wasn't bit, either. IIRC, their reasoning that the closer the bite to head or whatever, the faster the turning, right? Whatever it is, I think the consistency is off. But the question of turning while being eaten is interesting..that new walker would be like WTF?

Shane is the one that basically told the crew (ie. by dying) that everyone is infected. Once you die, you turn.

This show has strayed so far from what it was when it first started.

    I don't know why I still watch it, but I do. :(

rick is still alive, shane was killed by rick. Rick TOLD everyone about it, but without shane dying he wouldnt have known.

Should have said it in a different way before.

I still think its very interesting. Although i wish they would get back to just killing some zombies and not all this love drama.

Did he tell every one before or after Shane died?

It's more of a dramatic social experiment than it is about being in constant survival mode, looking for other clusters of humanity and possibly answers/cure.

And what happened with the Governor? He gets out gunned by an IT guru and his girlfriend after bringing in serious artillery? Retreats and...?

I don't know the books so I don't know if he comes back, but they took a whole season to build up a confrontation between the two camps and it ends with a 4 minute A-Team esque shoot out and no closure.

But I remember before this show's premiere, I asked myself and others how long can you make a zombie show last? A two hour movie is good enough. We're on what hour number 40 now?

    After.

He killed Shane. Shane turned to his surprise and that's when he figured out everyone is infected.

I think first and foremost, it is a show about a group's survival in a time that happens to be in a zombie apocalypse. Strictly about killing zombies, it wouldn't last. But what makes it great is the storyline and character development. Take Darryl for example, he wouldn't have been near as popular had the story been one sided.

I take this show with a grain of salt and suspend reality for much of it. But I'm not feeling the character development nor do I have any attachment to a single character.

I'm pretty much already waiting for the end of the series just to see the path the finale sets everyone on.

The Dr at the CDC told Rick everyone turned. That's why Rick waited around after he killed Shane...so he could re-kill him.

Interesting. Since you are done with it, why are you on this board?

I thought that was only relation to being bit by an infected zombie?

    I'm not done with it...

    I don't know why I still watch it, but I do. :(

    :notsure:

It's like Weeds for me. Season 1 was quite possibly one of the funniest seasons of any sit-com I've ever seen. Then it strayed so far from what it was and into something entirely different. And it was horrible for years... yet I still watched it to see it end

So here's another question: since Darryl and crew lost their car and haven't even made it to the college, how long do y'all think they will be gone? And will it be too late?

It can't be too late (assuming you mean getting antibiotics back to the prison) because I don't think the writers will kill Glenn off.
