I love my Dura tracs. But I need 285's with my new lift. So I may be selling my
265/75/16 about 4K miles on them..... Should have waited to buy tires but oh well...

What size lift do you have? Do you have pics of the truck with the 265's that you could share?

Eh, see my Build Thread sig link. Too many mods to list.
I went with 265/75R16 Coopers on my 1st Gen '97 at stock height. There wasn't SEVERE rubbing. There WAS rubbing at full lock from the fronts.

I removed the front mud flaps and then 20 minutes with a knife and hammer to cut the well liner and pound the pinch weld flat fixed 98% of the problem. After that there was only rubbing at full lock when going over a bump or something.

I was satisfied with the results, but it was further fixed when I added my lift and put the mud flaps back on.

    Thanks for the info
    I was considering some Cooper AT/3's in 265 75 16
But, I keep getting sucked back into the Duratracs: Mainly, because of their performance in the snow
I've heard of plenty of folks running 265 75 16's on stock height, without rubbing at all; my buddy has some Mud Terrans on his and it only rubs at full-lock
But, (can't remember where) I've read from a couple of folks on here that, specifically, the Duratracs in 265 75 16 rub quite badly on a stock set-up

    I think I'm just gonna go 31 10.5 15
I would really like to go 16; and I would really like an E rated tire
But, the amount of extra money I'd have to spend to (properly) lift my truck to fit that isn't very reasonable for me at the moment

I most definitely will and will try to get one or two up this morning.

First impression is that I am very happy with the tires. I actually think they look better than the mud tires I had on before. On the road...It's a night and day difference although I have only been up to about 45 mph. The truck is definitely absorbing any bumps in the road much better and the road noise is insignificant up to that speed.

Man you must got the last set in Ontario lol, I went to get some 2 weeks ago and they were all sold, mid December delivery date, unless you got the E load rated one's.
