This is true and more true. Best way to do it too honestly. I didn't come from a wealthy family either. Actually we were quite poor, but I keep chuggin away. I can atleast honestly and truthfully say I own everything I have 100%. I am paying my way through welding school now and that should turn into a decent income after I am done.

    And shoulda got 4d2s :D

I started cutting it up first rather than collecting all the parts beforehand because knowing me, some part of the 'plan' would likely change. If by deciding on a different route or because parts won't fit/work with the rest of the setup. Then I'd end up with a bunch of crap I can't use and end up selling for a lower price then I originally paid or not at all.

Ha you learned the same lesson I did. Buy parts first then build not during.

Next time I'm not starting shit until I have everything I need. I know i'll need little things but I want all the stuff you'd have to order before starting.

    ^ This! :D

The ONLY good thing about WI is I have a chance to work on my truck.

Wait... scratch that. That has nothing to do with Wisconsin. So I guess that leaves us with nothing. WI sucks.

That has more to do with the family situation. WI is making this more difficult really. Got to keep my smog crap.

Is there ANY way I could keep or register the truck in WY? :(

BTW, remember the SUV outside Powell with two different license plates? I heard/read it's impossible to register the vehicle in two different states.

Now I'm even more uncomfortable, in hindsight, for letting you go at my seat swap.

    Of course.

Plenty of people have out of state tags/reg. Do you still have an address there? Or can pretend to have one?

Not a resident anymore. From what I understand, to have out-of-state tags, you can't be out for more than 30 days at a time or some crap.

I've been looking over the requirements pretty closely here and the only way it seems I could be exempt from emissions is if I register it with 'hobbyist' plates as a home-built/recreational vehicle but it has to pass a Highway Patrol safety check

    Hobbyist plates?? thats new..haha

and 30 days?? haha well..im screwed then..haha i have out of state plates..actually got pulled over because they ran the number and an 03 jeep came back.. turns out Wy assigns the exact same number to people..but puts them in different catigories..after he re ran them as a truck..was all good.

My police inspections where super chill..haha granted..local sheriffs not hwy patrol..
