I should be more specific, I wasn't referring to a cocked and locked weapon, I was merely just referrencing the fact of weapon becoming loose in the vehicle, not the weapon discharging. I'm sure you have great gun handling skills and wasn't commenting on your gun safety, sorry if it read that way.

Sounds like you considered everything and congrats for making it work out, there is also the custom fit safe that fits in the console that would also make a great lockable metal box which would prevent theft and safely secure your firearm but then that's not as cheap as a picture hanger...

Good job, how ya like the Kel-Tec? Is it jumpy? Much muzzle flip?

Ahhh no I didn’t take it like that I just thought that you meant the weapon could discharge if the truck got wrecked. I would love a locking center console box but they are bucks. I wish I could weld I would try and fab up one of my own. I like the box with the combo lock on the top. I love the weapon its great. Surprisingly accurate for such a short barrel. I would recommend it to all (if you can find one around). It's not a pistol I would love to fire 100 rounds a day through but if I need it I'm confidante it will be able to get the job done. ;)

You could also fill your windshield washer reservoir with beer & run a tube up into the back of the glove compartment to a tap. That will have the ATF scratching their heads. LOL:)
