Yeah man I hate this shit. I also hate our fans calling out BAMA after we are 5-0 or 6-0..........Those teens, twenty somethings ain't seen the shit i've seen in my 40 years. They can call out BAMA Saturday Nov 30th if we win out.

I have that superstition shit going on in my head.

I've been there before. But I was the opposing team and had Duck fans yelling at me. Even had security come talk to me because they were told "I was drunk and yelling". I told security that want true. And his response was " look I don't care. But my boss is watching me and I had to come talk to you. You're not doing anything wrong"

Duck fans are becoming what they have always hated about husky fans. A feeling of entitled and they deserve to win. And no one else can play with them.


Hopefully the trees will slap them around

This story further reinforces and supports all my previous notions about the fans at their games. Not saying that all duck fans are D-Bags, but I think a lot are.

 

Did I live up to being a complete asshole on the last trip? Hope not. I just had to shit really bad, the only reason I was in a hurry....

But yes, we have a lot of bad fans now. Just like UW had their bad fans when they were winning. Once Oregon starts losing a few games (in a few years...), those fans will hopefully leave and go back to being Beaver fans like they used to be.

 

No I don't think you are an asshole. My colleague is kind of doosher duck fan. I tried joking with him last week after ducks beat the huskies (playful trash talk) and he got so butt hurt that I thought he was going to cry. Here is another from the sports illustrated survey about duck fans.

Funny thing when I was younger and Oregon for the most part sucked. Seemed like we were very happy whenever the Ducks won. Everybody for the most part got along fine (except for the Huskies and Beavers).

Fast forward to today when Oregon has had some success, they have also gained a crap load of new fans which is good. But many of those fans don't know much about football, the school or any sports. Some are also pricks.

Basically it has shown me what many USC (and Alabama, Michigan, etc.) fans have been saying forever. When you have some success it brings out everybody, and some of those people are idiots.

Every team has fans that are jerks, just seems like the winning teams have more when they win.

That said that damn SI cover is making me knock on wood to try and keep the curse at bay.

I remember chillin (25 degrees, snow, ice, etc) in the 80's watching us lose in that weather 3 to 0 but I had a fucking blast. When we did win it was amazing. Having a .500 season was a huge accomplishment.

Now we have these dumb dunce cornholed hussies eating caviar and sippin red wine that don't know shit. They are there because it's the "IN,HIP" thing to do.

And the youngster bandwagon jumpers that burn all there newly bought duck shit when we lose 1 game......they can shove a running chainsaw up their douche canoes for all I care.

This is correct. Kids today at Oregon have known nothing but BCS and expect that level every year. I honestly believe that if Helfrich had a bad year this year and over the next 2 years he would have a short life. Which sucks but that's the reality he lives in. Again that's just me.


The good thing about the Pac12 and college football in general is that it all goes in cycles. Everyone at the top may be at the bottom soon and vice versa.
