I understand where a coach would come in handy on a contest prep, you and I both know however that I am not at that stage though.

All my calculations that I have done, I'll be saving money about 3-400 a month on this. I'm ok with that lol

I went to Huntington Beach this summer to visit family. Everything out there is overpriced lol!

I'm 5'11'' and around 203-204 and am currently not taking creatine. Creatine retains water, so it's going to bloat you a little bit if you're using it right. You're supposed to drink at least a gallon of water a day while on creatine so your muscles will get saturated.

If you're gaining muscle, you're gaining fat...it's that simple. It is possible to gain muscle w/o gaining fat, but it's hard. I'm currently bulking right now and my strength is going through the roof, as is my weight and overall size. Usually when I bulk, I go from a size 32 to a size 34 or 36 pants. If you wanna gain muscle, you're more than likely gonna have to gain some fat, too. Come summertime, start cutting fat and your pants size will go down, although you'll lose a little muscle, too.

That's the way it works for me...muscle gain comes with fat gain. Fat loss is accompanied by some muscle loss. .

I thinking bloating is being miss used... I feel bloated when I drink a mass gainer or eat a shit ton of food... where as the creatine keeps my muscles fuller and cushioned (which is good if you're trying to lean down so your body wont get damaged as easily)

I agree...it also can assist with minimal strength gains.

I've never heard of it, but I'll look into it.

Mass gainer or overeating bloat is different from creatine bloat, for sure. What I'm referring to when I say 'creatine bloat' is the added water weight I put on from taking creatine. I'm not too sure if it's because I almost double my water intake while taking creatine or what, but whenever I take it, I usually put on 2-3 lbs. of water weight. Creatine is an osmotically active substance, it pulls water into your muscle cells, which increases protein synthesis and adding water weight to your body.

    MUTHAF*CKINGLEGDAY!

So last week on squats I went heavy (for me ) and somehow tweaked my right knee. Like it really felt funky....limited mobility and like it needed to be 'popped' in place or something. Anyway, so today I focused on lower weight, higher reps (3x12 225lbs, 2x10 275lbs) and really going deep. When I got below parallel and started to come back up, I noticed my hips wanted to turn and the bar dipping to my right a little.....hmmm.....so i focused on keepping my hips square and the bar level and my right knee started to feel a little sore (not like last week, just more 'used' than the left one).....weird.
Now, on leg press, I did the same concept (lower weight, higher reps) and noticed something.
MY FUCKING RIGHT LEG IS SHORTER THAN MY LEFT!?!?!!?!?!?! Like 1/2-1" shorter......WTF!
My right knee is the one I seriously fucked up when I was 19 (torn ACL, MCL, meniscus trashed) and was on crutches for over 2 months.

....so I got that going for me, which is nice.

edit: forgot to add.....now that i'm getting a little definition in my quads (instead them looking like a bag of shit) and it "appears" like my right kneecap is a tad lower than my left.....FUCK!

haha dont freak out man Im sure that's not the case... Your body is probably out of alignment. Just go see a chiropractor and they reseat your unaligned body parts. For me its usually my hip, tailbone and a few vertebrae .... I go hard

Today Im doing back and Im pretty excited. Back and legs are my favorite body parts

Ive had x-rays taken of my lower body. Right leg is 13 mm shorter than left. Also have a fucked up right foot. I definitely know what you mean by your hips wanting to turn and not be straight on.

no, for real, my right leg is shorter than my left
i'm not too worried about it (since there's nothing i can do about it)
so that's about 1/2".....that may be about how far mine is off.....which explains alot of the leg/knee problems i had when i was running all the time.

Im gonna guess you do 0 mobility work and stretch right now.
legs shorter are most likely due to mobility issues and tighten muscle/ligaments. Try to work on mobility to see if it helps.
i have knock knee so my legs turn in when i stand. i had hard time getting low because i can't open my hips, after a month or so mobility work and stretch, now im pretty comfortable in the hole when i squat. weight went way up too.

^ this too, it would help in short term, but until you figure out the problem i'll just keep coming back. that's why people keep going back to chiro for reset.

haha that'd be pretty funny to see... But that's a great idea. I see too many bulky people walking around the gym all stiff, I always wonder how bad it hurts haha

What do you do for mobility/ stretches?
Would yoga be a good place to start to get more mobility/flexibility? Ive done it like twice and it made me sweat like a whore in church

yeah man yoga is great! i used to do it once a week when I had about an hour a day (before I hit the gym I got into shape via P90X and P90X2 which had it in their program). A lot of body builders suffer in this area because all they do is lift. Most people need to understand to be healthy you need to do all sorts of training... I feel that yoga truly is one of them haha
