Truck is past registration and it needs to be smogged, plus I really don't feel like driving.

If you're going to be running 6psi I doubt you would need to run an intercooler, but a meth injection would be nice.

Yeah no kidding, especially knowing your motor needs pretty much EVERYTHING! But gonna be like a new motor after that (at least most of it anyway)
He is riding a 2004 CRF250R, or I should say WAS.

IC is a good idea, if your doing a lot of low speed stuff an air to water IC would be best, but complex, if you drive fast which it looks like you probably will an air to air would be fine, but I would recommend an IC regardless. Meth inj is nice but requires filling and maint.

seems like i could be under 2g's for a simple turbo set up seeing as our oil pans are already tapped for such a thing... interesting.

Just a quick note to say how appreciative I am of Jason (Speed Freek) to make quick on-the-spot diagnosis and repairs to perhaps any thing that drives on wheels!

Last night, my son's Geo Metro headlights would not work to get home to Lakeside... so an emergency over-nighter here in San Marcos. However, since his regular job ends at 5 (Fri-Tue) and daylight savings also ends in a couple of days, he needs the headlights to work.

A drive to Jason's Vista, CA 'shop' was made and the problem was soon discovered (a melted wire connection to fuse block, under the dash). A quick Internet search showed this is a common problem in the mid 90's Geos. At Jason's suggestion, we searched auto wrecking yards and found the (almost) same fuse block and wire harness at Ecology Auto in Oceanside (along Hwy. 76, near the airport).

Returning to Speed Freek's in Vista we find he had just did a differential replacement on a Toyota Camry in the time we were away... Hearing the praises from the Camry customer did not surprise us. Jason had done a differential and transfer case oil replacement for me a year ago, and I have had positive opinion of him since. Jason knew how to make the small modification between the bad and replacement parts for it to work like new.

In a very short time, Jason exchanged the fuse block and melted wire connection leading to the headlights and the old Geo was once again 'gold'... for very little coinage.

Thank you Speed Freek, once again! :)

PS My son wants to be a Tacoma owner, like his dad! :D
