Implying LE wastes money on shit they don't need, when there is a need for it, and the cost of it is pennies, is insulting. They did an excellent job finding those assholes from the bombing, all of those cops put their lives on the line that night to protect you, so you could have the luxury to come on this website and motherfuck them about equipment you feel they don't need.

 

They put their lives on the line with standard police equipment like a crown Vic. There is no need for the POLICE to have an armored vehicle. Leave that to the SWAT teams.

But engineers need pens and paper. I know quite about about armored vehicles, war, kicking in doors, and policing countries that want nothing more than to watch you bleed out on the streets. Cops do not need armored vehicles designed for combat, it's that simple. I'm not shitting on LEOs, just stating a simple observation based on experience.

That ASV was authorized by the GSA to be sold, more than likely to an authorized wholesaler who stripped out the military-specific components, rebuilt the sorry piece of shit, and then sold it to the PD. The town may not have had to pay for it, but the tax-payers paid for it via federal grants. Normally equipment like that gets scrapped, or sold to third world countries.

Either way, shit like that shouldn't be on our streets. For real, this is the USA, not the Gaza Strip.

My kids are older now but when I took the around the neighbors would have beers and bars set up for adults. THE BEST

 

Thats a great idea. Good way to get on the neighbors good side also. This is my first place where i will have alot of trick or treaters so we stocked up on candy, we have only been here a few months so maybe i should go stock up on booze also.

 

Some years we go thru 4-5 bags of candy and others maybe 1. This may be a liht year due to mid week and possible rain

 

hopefully it is halfway decent out tonight. We got an assortment of like 100 full size candy bars from BJ's. We ran out of candy last year.
