    The dirt and shit in his joint and bone automatically diagnosed septic/contaminated joint and bone infection requiring 6-8 weeks of IV antibiotics (thus PICC line) with nurses that come to your house every few days to draw your blood and make sure your kidneys don't fail from the antibiotics.
    If anyone has follow up info on this guy I'd love to see if he really saved his leg. I'd have a fake one and be back to activities in 2 weeks with my prosthetic. This injury has the highest degree of Gustillo and Anderson open trauma classification with worse prognosis. Only thing on his side is if he is medically healthy without comorbidities.
