I'd love to swap my dented bumper for a clean, unmolested one....but it was a horrible pain in the ass to get back on when installing the hitch/reciever...

Hey all -figured I'd post up since I've been lurking for a bit since I pick up the truck last month. I've got the 13 long bed sport - A bunch of ideas and not the $$ for them all - as well as the wife would kill me. Suck that there are not many places to get muddy legally...Planning on doing a little off roading when I go to SC for turkey day.

Hello Maryland neighbors. I've got a sad short story to tell. It may make you cry or a least sick to your stomach. It did for me. I inquired about a sweet little 1982 Toyota 4x4 pickup with a flat bed that I found on my second favorite web site ( craigslist ). It had decent miles for its year about 110k the wonderful 22r 4cyl and 5spd manual trans and of course the much desired solid front axle. The add stated truck will run down the road at 60mph with no issues. The seller was looking for a trade for various things none of which I had or wanted to part with. So I replied, after a few days of begging my wife to let me, only to receive this text in reply.... "I just got done cutting the axles out from under it I'm taking everything to the scrap yard Monday morning". " I just got tiered of messing with it ". My heart sank. I feel like someone near and dear to me just died an awful death.
Sorry for the sad story but things like this really bother me. What a sweet truck that was and I would have loved to have it.

I'd be happier about it if the bud light can wasn't on it....but it looks like a nice set up.
