AZ camping/wheeling on Log Corral trail 11/9-11/10

How bout coozies and bottle openers? Everyone needs a way to open their beer and keep it cold

 

I actually lost my coozy and have yet to put a bottle opener on. You sir are a genius.

This looks to be the hardest trail I've done in my rig, too. Did some small stuff similar to this in White Tanks but it wasn't a mile's worth of big obstacles. Tight canyons with turns you needed sliders to get around, big steps and whatnot.

Well you can't blame a guy for trying Coozies and bottle openers are great as well

nice i also found this, the trail looks tore the F apart in these pictures. for what its worth when i went a month ago there was only a tiny tiny tiny amount of water, and not fubared like it is in those pictures...



WOW-these ones are from 2008, thank god its not like that anymore or i dont think i would have a chance at making it haha.

This trail looks like it has the power to humble you in a hurry, I dig it.

 

No pics of the current condition of it when you were out there last month? I'd like to know how it "improved" in the last couple years unless the Jeep guys that adopted it have "repaired" it. Not much you can do to fix up some of those spots.

 

I'd be curious too, most of the photos seem doable with the right weather. Typically rain in a area like this make things even more challenging once it runs its course, ruts are deeper, rocks are taller, etc. If there has not been a ton of rain and a good amount of traffic then it gets beat down and easier all the time, which sounds like the case. Its always nice when someone has already stacked a rock or two for ya, unless you're billy bad ass who "dont stack rocks". Clearly Billy bad ass don't drive a taco, we stack rocks, lol

Looks like my kind of trail! Haven't thrashed on my Jeep since Moab so it's long overdue.

 

What a coincidence my wife's truck is a 09. But it is a mall crawler so she doesnt need it.

Bring me one of each and I will purchase both a front and rear bumper from you. Just give it to jason or andrew and they will get it to me.



On a related note. I am trying to make it to this. My wife is driving to phx friday evening to meet up with a friend for a b day bash for the weekend. If I can get my shift switched I will be in. only bad side is I will need to be a co-pilot for someone (jason,andrew,mike) cause she will be taking my truck to phx and just dropping me off.

Also, I am with Andrew. Since Moab all we have done is pussy foot the fuck around. I am ready for a real trail.

whoa there buddy.....we certainly did not pussy foot Brutus around when we ran trails in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado!

 

Well as tough as those trails were they weren't anything like Moab. And I haven't driven any hard trails myself. This trail will be worse than anything on the epic trip as well.

 

But the epic trip shall forever remain epic.

 

I'm not sure...I think it may be on par or harder than the Shoshone Lake trail. That was just a long ass wet boulder strewn road all the way down to the lake
