I may be blowing any chance of gaining entry into the elite and (somewhat) selective Carolina and Southern Alliances (also known as the Dixie Coalition) but I need some info to solve an argument between my roommate and I.

What goalie holds the unbreakable record of Most Games Played Without a Mask?

I contend that Lorne "Gump" Worsley holds the record.

Any of you Canucks have any input?

that is most consecutive games played.
he happened to play when in a time when they didn't use helmets.....so it could be.

the "games played without a helmet" thing is a pretty specific fact that i have not seen before.

there was no strike....it was an owner lockout.

    no hockey in the south?!?!?

there are 9 teams below a Utah to Virginia line across the US.

since 1999 half the teams to win the cup have been below this line (southern hockey).

    Stars (south)
    Devils
    Avalanche
    Redwings
    Devils
    Lightning (south)
    Hurricanes (south)
    Ducks
    (south)

there are quite a few schools offering high school hockey in the Dallas area.

^and another interesting point that is never brought up: Texas has more individual hockey teams (including Pro, Junior, Minor, Kids Leagues, etc) than any state in the U.S. including Minnesota, the so-called "State of Hockey."

Nobody likes you. So who is going to win the Stanley Cup this year? I hope my Flames make a run, but I wouldn't put any money on them, haha.

I hope another southern team doesn't win the Cup. Nothing makes me more angry than to see some team in the southern states, where nobody gives a shit about hockey, win the Cup.

But back on topic...I have no idea which goalie holds that record.

I wouldn't put any money on that either!:D
Because my NJ devils are going to do that!! As long as they don't take a sucker loss in the Playoffs to a team like the Wild. Where did they come from anyway? Well as long as the Red wings loose, I'll be content.

I don't think he holds that record. Rightfully deserves it, but I think he suffered too many injuries in his last few seasons. He definitely wins the toughest goalie award!

I wouldn't worry too much about the Wild. No way in hell they are going to make it to the finals. As for the East, it is wide open. Nobody really sticks out there. As for the Red Wings, they will choke again - they are just too old, and stand no chance ever since Stevie Y retired.

I'm going to put my money on the Sharks.

Stars-Bruins in the finals. Stars in 5. Might I also mention that I have no real grip on reality.

I believe when you state the "Stars in 5" is where this disclaimer no longer needs to be stated! [IMG]

I don't think you want a coke snorting son. Ever wonder why he is(was) so good? He pours a couple rails of coke in his beard (yes he always has a beard) and snorts it during the game. Have you ever noticed that he is always snorting between whistles? I think his supplier was either arressted or shot this year, cause he has been shitty.

You're right about Kipper, but I'm talking about Mini-Kipper. The kid who goes to a lot of the games with a Flames jersey, his junior mitt and blocker, and a fake red beard. Before the game, he'll go to the glass behind Kipper and mimic his warm up.
