Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.

You get the off road look by just building it to perform well off road. Simple as that. If you are just going for the poser look then that's cool I guess. But usually you go wheel it, something breaks and you replace it with something better. Or you realize you need more clearance, so it's time for bigger tires which comes with a wider stance.

I came here to say what everybody else has already said... take it off road! lol but what I would do is level it or lift it slightly. put some A/Ts on it and widen the stance a little bit. and TAKE IT OFF ROAD! getting some dust/dirt/mud on it is honestly the best way!
    and take the mudflaps off!

    see the difference?
I like showing pics of my truck lol

ok, I have wondered the same thing as there is an aesthetic to high performance vehicles of any sort that eventually trickles down to us. what makes a racecar look like a racecar? what makes a trophy-truck look like a trophy truck?

I watched a show once that explained that designers use ratios of wheel/tire/wheel well/overall-height to achieve desired outcomes. there are mathematical formulas.

im not a huge fan of wide stances. a hair outside the body-line I think is best. too wide looks like your truck is trying too hard. I dislike most aftermarket wheels as they are likely weaker than factory, and appear so. I think a "solid" wheel with holes drilled looks better than any spoked wheel.
factory trd's are quite beefy looking.

larger tires are all it really takes to make your truck stand out a little bit. I like to reference marlin's truck for height. droop is where its at!

Yeah i have heard of that now. Talking about diesels. Yeah i know you guys are giving me a hard time.............I think. J/k. I guess im not a hardcore offroader b/c im scared im going to break something. I do like how slidersi look, but if i bought some they would be bolt on, would just use them for looks and a step. Geez i guess im considered a mall crawler now.

it can't be as bad as this guy I heard at the tire shop a couple days ago... *guy pulls up in a f250 powerstroke with like a 6" lift and bro rims with mud grips and someone asked him where he wheels at. he replies, "I just bought those to make it look good. that truck ain't never seen offroad" I shit you not... I wanted to hit him in the face!
