I did this when my kayak fell off the support on my roof rack.. I went on the inside and just pushed up on the roof and it literally popped right back into place...

If i saw him Moving that direction, I'm thinking I would have had to have said something. I mean it's the roof...not like leaning on a fender. Did he go from the bed or hood or????

In any case best of luck and if I were "the friend" I sure would offer to fix or have it fixed to your liking.

the dent does not seem that deep you could try one of these Afterwards I would wax the whole area as the glue this uses might remove some of it.

Hey someone else who sat on the roof thinking it could hold a persons body weight. Well, like your friend, it didn't hold me either. I had to take it to a PDR(Paintless Dent Remover) company and they took it out in a couple of hours. The biggest expenses was getting the dents out. They weren't put, just an imprint of someone's ass. $300.00(CDN) later, my truck was back to normal like nothing happen.

If the dents are not on the ribbed/raised parts of the roof you should be able to hammer them out from the bottom(in the truck). If not, then you'll have to take it to specialists.

I've had this happened, but like my whole roof. Kid was a fatty. I started to push up on the inside of the roof and it popped back into place. Thankfully.

my friend let another friend borrow his jeep.

First off, he should have know friends dont let friends drive jeep's

the guy got the jeep stuck and called me, so i came to pull him out.

he climbed on the roof so he didn't get wet. $2900 damage.

If it's not on a crease then I would try either the suction cup from harbor freight or try the compressed air and heat gun or blow dryer.

Heat up the dented area w/ blow dryer and after it's hot to the touch hit the entire area w/ the compressed air (hold can upside down and spray). Search YouTube for the compressed air dent removal

    none yet
I was out camping in September and I parked my Tacoma under some large trees with green nuts (i'm assuming they were walnut tree nuts?) the size of golf balls. It was quite windy that weekend and I heard a lot of loud banging noises throughout the night but didn't think much of anything. I was assuming that the sounds that I heard came from other campers :D and didn't bother to check on my Tacoma. I just found out recently that I have a few large dents on the hood and roof. I thought some thugs must have intentionally damaged my truck but those didn't look like man made damages. The camping trip with banging loud noises throughout the night came to mind and I am still in my disbelieve stage why I didn't bother to check on my truck and move it:mad:. I'm not exactly sure how to fix them either.

I have been trying to stay calm, but the more I think about trying to fix it the more I want to go outside and start punching my ceiling.

Don't let us spool you up.

Just see if you can fix it otherwise get it done right or, if you're like me, you'll never be happy with it.

Stick a toilet plunger on it and pop it out. Did this to my friend's Highlander hood after some girl sat on it. Worked great!
