Traded the 2015 TRD Pro 6spd Supercharged on a PowerWagon and could not be happier. My 2011 Tacoma with the TX Baja package (Added by me) is still treating me great. My 1985 Toyota never skips a beat.
why you have to be all depressing lol

yea, no use getting too worked up over it :)

I bought my truck with a dent just like that on the roof...the heat gun/ compressed air trick didn't work....just for the hell of it i tried pushing from the inside...it would go..but not enough to pop it out...as a last try I figured where the dent was,and gave it a good punch from the inside...all gone. There is still a little crinkle there...but not a dent.

Very funny! In the end I think I will just deal with it until the day comes that I feel like I need to hit something, it is after all a good memory and thats what dents and scratches are for!

I had a dent in my roof that I popped out with the the heal of my hand from inside the cab. One good whack and all was good. I didn't take the headliner off to do it. Now I have another small one that doesn't seem to want to respond. The suction cup idea is worth a try. Glad you got it fixed.

I got drunk one day and tried to pose sexy on my roof at a friends party... It was the sexiest dent ever.

But I kinda got scared and started pounding the edges of the big indent to get the sheet metal roof to wave around and after a few seconds a metal thud and no more fat boy indent. Thought I would have learned that fat people + sheet metal don't mix after denting in the hood on my old TL Type-S trying to do the exact same thing... I'm too sexy for my vehicles :(

I had someone dent mine like that and yup same thing one punch and it was good as new. Btw if you leave dents like that after a while the metal will not want to pop back out and it will need more than a punch to fix.

Paintless dent repair (Dent Dr) can get it out for probably under $100.

Sorry I missed this thread before you punched the dent out; I had a very similar dent in my roof in almost the same spot. I bought on of those dent puller suction cups and it couldn't form a seal because of the ridges on the roof and the diameter of the suction cup was slightly to large. Ended up using the suction cup from my cell phone windshield mount which has a smaller diameter cup; worked fine the first time. Coincidentally, the cell phone windshield mount/dent puller is for sale......
