His is accelerating a lot more mass though. So the load the engine sees will be different, and that is likely the reason for the longer shifts.

With the weight his has and that power, it will definitely be a good upgrade for the longevity.

really cause in those vids he has like 1-2 passengers and maybe the dogs. Front bumper and shell..but i think thats it in those. Now he has rear HC bumper with swingout, sliders, and winch. Skids will be coming im sure.

But i guess that does make sense..

Ill have to push him over the edge to get the IPT mod then :p

Yeah he has more mods than I do as well performance-wise... This may just be a testament to the difference that elevation makes on performance.
    OUCH... But you're right :pout:
They didn't know that they could either! lol
I have been in Texas, but I couldn't seem to find time to make it down.. I am certain I will be back down that way soon enough here and I will make a point to come see you when I do.
I have a girl I wanted to go visit in NO, but I couldn't even make that trip. I'm actually up in Minnesota now.

Gotta exhaust ? for you..In those old youtube video's did you have your secondary cats removed along with the aero turbine 2525? And your stock headers right?

That is correct. Secondary cats were removed the same time the Aero was installed. Headers were not added until March of 2012 so if anything was uploaded prior to that it had the stock manifold. That reminds me I do need to make a new exhaust vid...

However I did make vids that included when I put the resonator on the truck that were back in 2011 iirc. If that helps.

Okay, awesome yeah that helps. Just looking for that throaty deep sound.
Went with a wicked flow muffler on my last taco. Sounded great but, I see a lot of ppl are running aero turbines here...Thought id try something different on the new truck

~ 10.76 seconds 40-90 & started when the needle was on the 40. Being that your tires are larger than stock, it is actually a little faster than the gauge.

    ~12.74 for the FRV.

I do know however that there is some rasp that comes along with the AT 2525 and no cats which is why I later put on the resonator. I would honestly recommend the 2525XL and leaving the cats unless you plan to go all out in the performance department. I am tossing around the idea of a new exhaust setup myself... still containing an Aero though :)

But I've got the dual Halos :p. You're just beating me in every other department ATM. No big deal. Although I will never catch you in suspension. Not with this truck anyway.

That's actually not too bad IMO for the weight I am pulling around. I wonder how much I am really leaving on the table by having the stock Y and largely stock exhaust. Considering a new Y-pipe w/ 3" V flange to a full 3" out... Wonder how much I could honesly expect to gain from that? What say you Mark? Currently I am running stock Y with the cats removed, stock muffler cut out and replaced with AT 2525 and 18" resonator.

The elevation has ALOT to do with it I can assure you of that. With the 2.8 pulley my truck peaked at 4 psi boost at 5500 feet. In Texas I saw it hit 8. In Minnesota here the highest I have seen is 7.

Gadget recently came out with equal length headers and is going to release an equal length y-pipe soon as well:gossip: I just don't know if that y-pipe will fit the 4x4's with the tcase though...

With an S/C I don't know that the gains will be large, but they will be there I'm sure.

i believe it. We never got a big chance to really open it up here in MO. But maybe next time. Granted he has even more armor now..haha

flow will increase..so less psi..but more air..so more power..should work anyways.
