About 3:30am today, I hear a loud crash outside my house. After a little while I decide to check it out. I get up and realize there is no power. I walk outside and it looks like a war zone. red blue and yellow flashing lights. Hard to see anything at all, but I make out wires everywhere and debris. Police warns me not to get too close and then goes on to tell me that somebody knocked a pole down and started a chain reaction.
This is as soon as there was enough light to snap a pic.

That's why I don't like parking on the street. I bet it was a hit and run .

 

They say he fell asleep... I originally thought drunk driver since at least once a month, somebody's car on the street will get side swiped pretty bad. Plus kids are always doing long smoky burnouts on this road.

I saw a white one near the airport. So there's at least 1 on the island. Couldn't tell if he's on TW though.

 

Good thing it is my day off! That would've been my shift and I'd have to be a first responder for the utility. You guys must have been out for awhile, that always sucks.

 

Anyone have a canon 550D? T2i. Not positive, but it may also fit a T1i. But not a T3, T3i, or T4i.

I'm sure every one has seen the commercial bashing the Tacoma and saying "let's make the F150 Hawaii's favorite truck" pretty sad when they have to resort to that.

I keep hearing that commercial on the radio. For the longest time I thought they were trying to compare a mid-sized truck to a full size truck. But I have come to realize they are comparing price points. Saying for only a little more you could have a full size truck instead of a "compact" truck. But I don't like that argument because a full size truck is a whole different game reguardless of the price

 

Damn. Last night I guess some punk kids took the jack o lantern my daughter and I worked so hard on and smashed it on the sidewalk I found it this morning. gonna tell her it was full of bugs and I threw it away

 

Damn that is sad. Passing out candies last night got more high school students then youger kids trick or treating even had couple of adults trick or treating and never have kids around. lol
