    Awesome! Good luck, Monte.
Dear god, the horror. He probably would never speak to me again.
    My house.
If there is a button, electronic display, or moving part on something, my dad doesn't understand it. I had to learn everything I know about mechanical and technical by myself and from friends and jobs.

He's an awesome guy and very successful at what he does, but he grew up with nothing in England during WWII. They used a balled-up rag or tennis ball to play soccer. So he pretty much learned to do without, because they had nothing growing up.

Now he sees all the tools and shit I do on the truck and airplanes and houses, and he is just beffuddled. He has no idea what most of my tools are for.

Just want to address all of this.

First off, the 1 article that everyone reads and draw's opinions on is long over and was taken care of. It was an ex employee who took the actions under his own and was no one else knew about. That employee was fired. Said employee was also stealing. So he was a awesome guy to say the least. We have overcome a lot of dishonest employee's. The way we do that is by finding good one's and holding on to them and taking care of them, and providing the best customer service we can.

I personally am the only rep that goes on this forum. So for the past year it's been just me on here. Before was Cliff who is now at Sierra. And as most of you that have spoke with me on here, in person or over the phone, I give advice and answers before even trying to sell anything. If I was wrong on some, I apoligize. But if anyone orders anything from us, and it's wrong, we make it right. Personally I would make sure and double check everything before it ships. And if there is a question, I will call rather than PM since over PM things can not always get translated the best.

We have been granted Vendor status by the admins, so I hope that means something to you all. They have been tracking my service to you all, and feel it has been good enough to get us back in good standing here. Which again, was due to the actions of a single employee who is no longer with us (he opened his own shop, so beware)

For those that hold the actions of one bad apple against us..Well, I guess there is nothing I can do. What I can say, is that I'm going to keep doing what i am doing on here, helping where I can, and giving you guys some deals along the way. It's not something we have to do, it's what we choose to do to help all of you.

As for the King/Fox bumps. Pricing has been the same for a few years. Fox has only done 2 price increases over the past 3-4 years, and they have been only a few bucks.

A lot of the cost is in the seals. If you buy a bump stop rebuild kit, it's the same kit as an Air shock. Fox only does one style of shock, they do not have a prerun and race series like King does. So with fox's, they are more than King Prerun, less than King race. King seals are way more than fox's as well. So when taking all that into account. The Bump prices kinda make sense.

Fox 2.0's are more than enough for 90% of trucks. A 2.5" is very overkill for a midsize. Some TT's don't even run hydro bumps at all. It's all in the shock tuning. If you need a 2.5" bump on a midsize, you really need to look into your shock valving.

If I was in it for the $, I would sit here all day and tell you to buy the 2.5" cause they are more. But I am not like that, If a 2.0 is enough that's what I will suggest, I don't want you to waste your hard earned $, Just like I don't want to waste mine.

If anyone has an issue, please bring it up with me to let me address and resolve it before blasting it out. I get a bunch of PM's a day on here, and DR. Sometimes I may mix something up. I am not perfect, but I can assure you all, that I give you guys 100%. I have made a lot of personal good friends on Forums. And that means more to me than a paycheck.

I ran SAW bumps on my old F150 and liked them. SAW's have gotten much better over the old Leak-a-way day's. But your at about the same price if not a bit more than Fox's

My father is the same way.. he could tell you what any part of a military jet, 60-80 car or truck is, where it goes, and how to properly install it but he hates all the technology in his new car..

Both my Dad and Father-in-law are the same way. My first couple cars were from the 80's and they can both work on them all day long. All of the newer cars, you almost can't do anything to because you can't find it.

I was at Konsta's shop last week and he had the hood up on a newer Ford with a Powerstroke and you couldn't even see the actual motor under all of the extra stuff that was in the engine bay and I don't just mean they layed plastic in there to make everything look nice, there was literally a shit ton of stuff mounted over top of the motor:eek:

Well said Vince. I have to come by to meet you all. I have better dealings at Sierra but I have meet those guys and wheeled with them. That's how you get to know who you are working with. Like I said. It's all relative. There will always be those douche bags that are just douche bags though.

No, but may dad couldn't do that at all. I mean, it's like, "is that an alternator or a rock?" Seriously. I think I got this part of my brain from my mom's side, her dad was a radio technician.

He was good at math and got into doing the books at a company. Once he saw what the sales guys made on commission, he got into sales. He did very well with that. Self-made man. And as much as I generally despise sales people universally, you'd never know a straighter shooter than him. I think people appreciated that, and that's why he got so much business over the long term. Not a lot of that around these days, all short-term BS greed and lying...

But he can't change a windshield wiper blade.

And I'm a math retard :homer:
