Khris, you have to remember that most of these guys(myself included) on this and other forums dont have the experience you do(insert old people joke here). This may be their first-ish build and just making something work is impressive, it takes something breaking before they realize that it wasn't done right. Add in that some of these guys are doing it to their DD's (maybe a bit scary) so things get done quickly to get to work the next day. More importantly most people dont get to build a truck all at once like "your" race truck or expo, so things dont get planned out as a cohesive unit.

I know for a fact that when I get my truck build going ill be leaving things as close to factory as I can in a lot of areas, because Im nervous about my ignorance and diving in to areas of the build I do not know about and creating unnecessary problems... I think my point is, you are good at educating others, I hope that you continue to do so, kindly, and ignore the donkeys

....remember this was written by a guy with serious trophy truck part envy:p

LOL, hurt some tender feelings I see... Oh well but hey, what do I know, never been there or done that. (LOL, no problem with the old age jokes! Age is the least of my concerns) Everything I learned is from what I read online. No point in regurgitating the same ole since everyone already knows better... I'll go back to causing trouble in DR while tossing in a bit of know it all here and there and stop bothering people on this forum.

BTW, I have TT parts envy too! Someday I'll pay a shop to build me something cool! About 7 more years and no more house payment, then I should be able to be cool like the rest with no debt! LOL

Good luck with your wiring or figuring out how to plumb a fuel cell cause gee whiz, that's like rocket science and stuff! Thank god for the internet! Common, you gotta laugh about someone that complains about having to carry some spare fuses though! That shit is funny!!!

have fun doing that and stay out of here with all you arrogant sarcastic remarks. that is not needed at all here. some one was just trying to figure out the best way to wire a battery, no need for your bullshit. either stop and add some constructive advice to the conversation or get out. go back to trolling DR, because apparently you're good at that. :brianr:

I agree. this is sort of my point. its a forum. people are gonna ask questions and when they do, just be respectful and answer the question to your best ability.

Whatever... He goes out of his way to over explain things with huge write ups and tons of pics when someone asks a question. he makes one joking around remark and gets chastised.

i agree with you, i really like how he responds with pictures, it really helps, as well as a long explanation.
i was just saying if he didnt say it like that people would have been thankful.
either way its still very good information.

sooo front window and windshield tint.... who has it? and have you had any problems with getting cited for it? our trucks turn heads and that can obviously lead to more police attention, and any amount of tint is illegal.
