that was for cleaned pair of axles with nothing done to them..
so if some one is selling a D60 built for that then jump on it.. gears alone are $400 per axle then you have lockers and bearing brakes maybe ball joint and ujoints you never know..

i was looking last year when i saw prices like that.. if you wanna really get shocked as the junk yard for just a front D60 they quoted me $950. but then i found a 92F350 and nabbed that up kept what i want and the rest went to scrap paid a friend the scap money and $250

It was 3 grand for 2 axles, dual locked, 4.56 gears, brakes, etc. I think it may have been high but they sure looked nice

We can get road ready D60 axles for $400 around here. They aren't built up like I would want, but they are a good start.
