I didn't realize how well those cars were built in the 1920s, or how adaptable they were to some pretty primitive road conditions.
This is 4-wheel driving with 2-wheel drive!

does turning tires to black wall out count? How bout added snug top rebel.
It looks like me in my ups truck, I would have tried and made it through all that except the roll over. I went places nearly everyday that were 4 wheel drive only roads. Never once did I need a tow truck, but nearly every vacation I took, my cover drivers would get stuck and have to get pulled out. It's all about momentum, when to have a bunch of it, and when to lay off of it. I only needed to get pulled out of two situations, both times were bar ditches with 2 1/2 feet of snow, I had to get off the road to let somebody pass, and let my momentum slow enough to get stuck. Luckily, I knew who could help me out without calling a tow truck. One of my cover drivers went down the wrong driveway, got stuck, the people that lived there got stuck behind him, and the tow truck got stuck behind them. $1000 tow bill for that one. My UPS truck had tall skinnies, 19.5 inch rims, pretty effective. Sorry for rambling on, just brought back some memories.
