heard its pretty hard to fit 35" tires wanted to ask you guys who do a good amount of offroading if with a 6" lift it would be better to put 33s on for the clearance. also wanted to know if it would look awkward with 6" and 33s

why do you say 35s are to big to offroad with its better to have a taller tire to get over bigger objects and i still flex the same as my buddy that runs 33s on his 3inch lift but i dont bottem out on stuff as much due to me having 6 more inches under the frame

Im sorry, but how would the tire's diameter get smaller from airing down? Tires have steel belts that run around them that prevents radial runout, therefor their diameters can only change a very slight amount. I cant see any way that a 35" tire would shrink like that to a 33, or even a 34 from airing down. The sidewall will bulge from load with the lack of pressure therefor the height of the tire measured from the ground may be less, but the true diameter wont change.

Awesome thread for sure. Can't wait to get out of school so that I might be able to upgrade to dbl cab Tacoma with a Fabtech lift. Looking forward to seeing more pictures if there are anymore to come :drool:

A little off topic, but the local shop wants $3500 (installation included) for the pro comp stage 2, I can get the lift for $2199, how hard are these to do by yourself?

fairly easy. The procomp only reqiuires a small section to be cut. No welding! If you have a 4wd?
You do need to drill a few holes.
