Did some mods on my Tacoma:
35 watt back up lights, used the Lowes 12v bulbs and tightened up the socket so they would fit. I'm a little too conservative to burn 50 watt'ers.

Ordered and installed an Extrang Tri-Fold tonneau cover. Easy to mount. Fast shipping and they beat an innerwebz price match. Looks awesome.

Went to the farm and home and got a tow hook for the receiver.

Soldered the two IC's to fix the compass/thermometer. Thought I jacked it up when one of the IC's stuck to my soldering iron!

Used a hose clamp to help secure the tail gate. Turned the 5/16 nut towards the tail gate and used my pocket knife to support the clamp and tightened it with a box ratchet. Maybe slow a POS down anyway.

Picked up a MV50 12vdc air compressor and added an extra 10 ft of battery cable. Used 10 gauge motorcycle cables. Tinned and soldered the cable together and used 3 layers of heat shrink to cover the joints.

    All mods from TW. Thanks!

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
Started hearing a bad bearing noise, so jacked the rear and put the truck in drive. Very bad center support bearing. So I removed the shaft, made sure the stake nut was good n tight n re staked it, greased the slip yoke, greased all the u joints, and re installed the shaft. I also made sure all the shaft bolts were torqued well. So now I am unsure if I want to replace the CB with another or get a one piece drive shaft. Decisions decisions. $60 and a whole lot of cussing with the possibility of it failing again, or $400 and a nice pretty new to me drive shaft?

two major issues; the clowns at canadian tire couldn't be bothered to balance them properly so the just through beads in… still have to highway test for shake but it's not smooth at lower speeds
    [IMG]
and worse I got rubbing big time. My Toyo AT same size only rubbed at lock but these are barely drivable. Time for some spacers as a bandaid new rims when I get a chance.

Fixed my way too stiff OME 886s. I have an arb bumper but no winch. I was DISGUSTED by the horrible ride, cv boot rubbing, and lack of downtravel. I bolted 87 lbs of plate steel pistol targets on the bumper (rubber under it of course), and BAM.

Smooth ride and I can see daylight between the CV boot fins! Those OME/ARB folks know what they are doing after all! I would get the winch now, but I have 4 bald tires and have to get some rubber for these:

Engine block heater (overkill in NY but I did it anyway), and 12v Anderson connector. I also made a set of jumper cables with the opposite end Anderson connector for easy tow-truck style jumping.

He could make it if they stuck as close to that pole as possible. Maybe even scraping it a little bit.
