just finished off some apple butter my friends bought back and need a refill. So damn good. I love me some apple pie so im excited. Lived here my whole life and have never been.

 

Lol I've been here almost eight years or so and I went for the first time a month ago. It was pretty fun and the food was good.

 

We tried to get there (High Hill Ranch) on a Sunday a few weeks ago. It was so busy and traffic so bad, we couldn't get in. Turned around and went home. If you go, plan on arriving between 9 and 10am, if you go on a weekend.

Ahhh, first time I've seen your truck around there. You live in Sac or up here? If I had more free time I'd say we should hit up the woods up at sly park and mormon emigrant and stuff. I got a buddy who has been trying to get me to head out with him in his rallied out subaru he's been building up. Your truck is all sorts of sexy, though

I live in Elk Grove, we were on our way to Apple Hill. I usually head up that way to explore off of Mormon Emigrant also cut fire/smoker wood with buddy

so i switched to shell rotella t6 after reading about it on here and bobistheoilguy. After putting 100 miles on it, i can tell there is a big difference, truck idles A LOT smoother, and it takes longer to heat up, less friction im guessing? wonder if ill get a small mpg bump
